How do you determine the right style for your clients?
I find it most helpful to walk them through the showroom while asking a lot of questions. How will they use the furniture, how many people in their family, do they like to entertain? Picking a piece of furniture is like trying on shoes; it has to fit just right.
What is the design tip you just can't stress enough?
Don’t be afraid of pattern mixing! Everything doesn’t have to match and mixing things up can really set your design apart. La-Z-Boy has so many different patterns and colors that can be mixed together to create a really nice, unique palette.
Name one thing on your bucket list, and why.
To visit New York City. Food and shopping are my two favorite things, and I just don’t think I could find a place better than New York City to do those things.
