How do you determine the right style for your customers?
Asking questions, listening, and connecting with the client. What are their likes and dislikes? Do they have pets? Do they need more storage? How do they use the space? This information is the key to creating a personalized design that is unique to the client.
Where do you find your inspiration?
I find inspiration all around me: social media, magazines, nature, movie/TV sets, and my customer’s homes. I find that the most challenging rooms can lead to the best designs. Figuring out the design "puzzle" forces me to come up with creative solutions.
What aspect of your job brings you the greatest joy?
Delivery Day! I love seeing the look of happiness on my clients’ faces when they see their new room, the sigh of relief that it looks exactly like the design, the moment they realize it’s not a picture in a magazine, it’s their home - and they get to live in it.
